Current Needs

Current needs of Love the Child in GuatemalaLove the Child relies on monthly donations to provide for the daily needs of the 50 children living in the home.  The children range in age from newborn to 5 years old, with an average 20 infants under the age of 12 months.  On average the home consumes 372 cans of formula,  and uses 10,000 diapers per month.  Other general needs consist of food, shampoo, diaper cream, baby powder and baby wipes. Sweaters and jackets for the older children, as well as baby sleepers provide a layer of warmth for the cold nights in Guatemala. Shoes, underwear and socks are greatly needed for the older children in the home.

New Home Construction

Love the Child Construction of Our New HomeLove the Child is moving forward in faith and beginning construction of a new home for our children.  We have currently been renting the home we are in for the past 10 years.  With over 200 steps and many small rooms, we look forward to moving into a home that provides every special and specific need for our children.  The property is located directly across the street from our current home.  Perimeter property line walls are in place, with a construction office on site.  The clearing of trees and concrete work is the next phase.  Please prayerfully consider investing in the future of Love the Child and their home.
